Commissioning time depends on site readiness and the acceptance scope. A prepared installation with power, air if required, trained staff, approved yarn and a clear sample can progress in days; missing utilities, change parts or fabric decisions can extend the work well beyond the mechanical setup.
Positioning, leveling, electrical checks, lubrication and a controlled no-load or low-speed run establish that the machine is installed correctly. Fabric setup is a second activity: threading the agreed yarn, confirming the knitting elements and recipe, increasing speed in stages and inspecting the resulting roll. Shipping arrival is not the same milestone as production acceptance.
The factory should confirm floor space, lifting access, supply voltage, grounding, ambient conditions and any compressed-air requirement before delivery. Yarn, spare needles, test instruments and operators must be available for the agreed dates. If the target sample has not been approved, the technician cannot know which result defines completion.
The final record should name the machine, configuration, yarn lots, settings, stable trial duration and inspected fabric. Log open items with an owner and due date rather than calling an incomplete demonstration accepted. A handover should also include maintenance points, safety functions, alarm response and backups of electronic recipes where applicable.
